Maybe I just imagined I sent this posting out a couple of weeks
ago. Anyway, as I got no response whatever, I'll try posting it again
(one last time).
Perhaps someone could explain to me the behaviour of
the following code (MapBasic 5.5, MI Pro 5.5).
shade mitkanim with Company values
"xxxx" Symbol (115,16711680,18,"MapInfo Miscellaneous",0,0),

This snippet was copied out of a workspace (that
was saved with a satisfactory view) into a
MapBasic Subroutine activated by a menu click.
When reloading the workspace, all symbols show
properly.
When running the MapBasic code, the symbol that
comes up on the map for xxxx is just an empty
circle. The other symbol comes up correctly. Obviously,
this is because a different symbol library was specified.
Amazingly, BOTH symbols in the *legend* are
correct!
I need them BOTH to be correct on the map, too.
What's happening?
