Hi all list pals I've been experimenting with ODBC connectivity to Access. I want to geocode an Access table using a MI table. When I try to do this, it says that I have to make the Access table mappable. I say OK, then it asks for the X and Y and spatial index colums. Thats it!. Do I have to go to the Access table and create new fields for the X,Y and spatial index ?. If that is so , for every table I would like to Geocode, do I have to do this ??( hoping for Gods sake-not. Anyway if XY is to be provided with every table whats the use of Geocoding ? A MI catlouge has already been created in the Access DB. My version of MI is 4.5 prof.
