MI Is MapInfo going to dead ?

Is Mapinfo and Mapbasic going to dead ??

Anyone knows if will be a Mapinfo 7.0, 8.0 etc ..

And MapBasic ?

Will exist MapInfo and Mapbasic in 5 years ?

I saw the improvements made in the last 3 releases are very poor at least for my expectant.

Are the list agree with me ?
