Greetings from OZ I have been trying to translate MapInfo TAB files to ESRI Shape files using the universal translator without success. It is not something I need to do very often, but it has worked for me in the past. I am running ver 5.0.1 (networked) on NT4. The MapInfo files were provided by a consultant. I don't know what version of Mapinfo they were created in - could this be the problem? The error message I get is "Exception EAccessViolation in module imutgui.exe at 00049095. Access violation at address 00449095 in module'imutgui.exe'. Read address FFFFFFF" The translator simply spins its wheels until I cancel it. Please help!!
