MI-L GPS hardware for development in VB

[Holroyd Engineering Services]

Can anyone recommend a good GPS (+-5m accuracy) hardware and tools that can
be used for development of a basic data collection program using VB. Mainly
looking for GPS and matching conduit code which will enable VB apps to
request x,y coordinate from GPS unit.
