I am also having a lot of problems with the icons etc. the actual graphic
being on the active tool resembles the last used tool instead of the current
one, I think that this is something to do with the compatibility between
MIpro and Win2k, it also may explain the sticking Pan tool. Also the reshape
issue is probably the same, the display has not been refreshed while the
nodes are active but rather when they are not but they have kept the
appearance of being active. All the problems seem to be related to the
graphics card or graphics driver in some way, Is your video card an ATI type
brand, this may be the source. Hope this helps

Subject: MI-L MI Buttons Sticking

Hi All
having a frustrating problem with MI 6.0 Firstly my Grabber button keeps
"sticking" That is sometimes the "hand" will not pick up the map and move
it. I have to zoom in and out a couple of times to solve the problem. In
addition I had a problem with the reshape button. I had a poly selected for
editing and hit the reshape button. the nodes of the poly did not appear
when I hit the button again to release it they did appear although I could
not select any of them. this latter problem has only appeared

I am running a Dell optiplex PIII 733 with 256Mb RAM/15Gb hard drive and
Win2000. I'll probably have to face the horror that is MapInfo UK tech
support sooner or later but I was merely wondering if anyone had come across
anything like this before.

cheers

Jonathan
