I am trying to geoposition some
high-resolution maps (approx. accuracy of 10-15 meters
on ground) that are in original size of 0.5 km * 0.75
km and contain streets, property parcels, buildings
and other things. Since the budgets are limited (as
always), I am thinking about the minimum number of
GCPs to be created for geopositioning all the 0.5 km *
0.75 km datasets that are 1200 in number.
Can any body suggest some bench marks already in place
regarding the minimum distance between GPCs (to be
created on field using a GPS) in order to maintain an
accuracy of 10-15 meters of the resulting database?
