If you're in the UK you can get 5D-pdf creator free from www.ctrl-p.com by
signing up on their website (just a few personal questions to answer.....) -
they send you the CD. They are a printing company, and occasionally send you
free oddbins vouchers for getting quotes off them, too! I use the
pdf-creator all the time.

It does an excellent job of creating PDF files from A4 to A0 size. It acts
as a printer driver, so once installed, all you do is choose File > Print
(from MapInfo), and choose the 5D-PDF printer driver. It does the rest and
creates your PDF file.
I'd highly recommend it.
