I have exported map to Corel numerous times and I have had very good luck in
saving the map as a Windows Metafile (WMF). Use the menu command File>Save
Window As. Since metafiles are vector based, all of the map geometry will be
preserved. In addition, you will be able to edit the original map objects
in Corel Draw as well. Note that map object with a fill are separated into a
fill and the object outline. If an object is complex and has a fill, the
fill will be broken into several pieces. Text will be broken into
individual objects for each letter. Saving the map as an enhanced metafile
(EMF) has caused several problems so I do not recommend that format.

Hope this helps.
