I'm working on a MapBasic app where I need to query a SQL Server database to get a list of the tables it contains. I use Server_Connect() and can get a valid connection handle to a SQL Server database, and I assume I'll need to send some SQL string via Server_Execute() to get a list of the tables, but what string do I send? Or do I need to do something else?
All I know for sure is that the technique is different for different database servers.
