Ok problem solved, After trying most of the much appreciated solutions from the listers, I was no further along. What I failed to mention in my initial email was that I am running both 6.0 and 6.5 on the same machine so I can open workspaces from 6.0 users, make changes w/o converting the .wor to 6.5 format. So the solution, with a tip from Scott Carruthers, was to copy the Mrsid.rhe file from my 6.0 directory to my 6.5 directory. With that change there are no further problems. I have a situation where several USGS DOQs that have been compressed in MrSid open in MI version 6.0 but not version 6.5 (information message says "Raster engine was unable to recognize image file format. Unable to open table"). Does this sound familiar to anybody? TIA Harold R. Feinberg Research Analyst 1 GIS Ca.
