To Bill Thoen - In SQL-Server 7.0 (and perhaps in older versions) every database contains a system generated view called "information_schema.columns". This view contains information about all fields in all tables in the database. Look at fields "Table_name", "Column_name" and "Data_type" in the view. regards Bo Thomsen GeoConsult I/S Denmark
