To Bill Thoen -

In SQL-Server 7.0 (and perhaps in older versions) every database contains a
system generated view called "information_schema.columns". This view
contains information about all fields in all tables in the database. Look at
fields "Table_name", "Column_name" and "Data_type" in the view.

Does anyone here know how to access field names and types from
tables via an ODBC connection to databases in SQL Server?
