An opinion based less than a full evaluation a couple of years ago:

Incredibly sophisticated in direct use of many forms of mapping technology.
Actually put together in an understandable, friendly format that gives
mapping solutions to many problems upon which other desktop programs stub
their toes.

Includes public domain data that has the problems inherent with Govt. maps,
(unattached nodes, breaks in lines, etc.).  They didn't fix these because, "
the maps are taken from rather well known, GIS industry standard sources and
we wished to preserve their standard nature, warts and all.

Well worth the very little bit of $$ required.
