Hi listers

Has anyone attempted the following or seen a tool.....

we have a data set of regions, some of which overlap. We want to be able to
identify the overlapping areas and colour them according to the number of
regions that
overlap them. i.e. if half the region doesn't overlap any others, then it
may be coloured light blue and if a quarter of that region overlaps 2
regions it gets darker etc. etc.

any thoughts

TIA

Regards
