Don't forget to make your labels 3 times smaller, as they will grow with
your size adjustment.  It may help to use the text labler tool so they
remain the same size.

Chris,

Make the size of your image 3 times bigger, then open the image in
PhotoShop (or similar) and re-resolutionise the image from 96/72 (whatever
screen resolution is)dpi to 300dpi.

This will give an image approx the same physical size you started with, but
with a better resolution.
If you need higher resolution, make it bigger accordingly.

Chris' question:-
Hello all,

is there anyway of changing the output resolution  when you do a "save
window as" from the layout or map window. I think the default is 96 dpi ??
