If you have AutoCad you can move/rotate your drawing to fit with the
digitized cadastral info.

If not maybe creating an affine transformation in Mapinfo (see MapInfo
manual) might be a solution.  Using Neil Moseley's Affine Calculator at
http://members.iinet.net.au/~mose/prod03.html might be useful.

   Hi all

   I have an accurate engineering survey plan in DXF
format, which when imported to Mapinfo doesn't correspond with the
digitised
cadastral info (surprise, surprise). I have tried importing with various
conversions projections and by fixed point scaling option available in DXF
import. I have been able to tried one end in correctly, but still requires
a
rotation of about - 8` or 352 deg which ever way you want to look at it.

   Any idea's would be gratefully accepted. Especially
if they include a three week training course, situated where the sand get
between your toes and the mobile just doesn't ring.....
