thanks for the tip, but i am interested not in the EPSG codes, but  rather
to define this other sort of consecutive number in the mapinfo prj file
comes from.

"Longitude / Latitude (Provisional South American 1956)\p4248", 1, 82

Like in this example, i know that the Provisional South American 1956 datum
is EPSG 4248, in this case I know is geographic, so the 1, but what the 82
stand for?
