To Peter - The command line part of UT is a exe-file called imut.exe. imut.exe is a scaled down version af Safe Software's FME data translation tool. You can feed imut.exe with the same kind of commandline options as FME. You can download documentation for FME from www.safe.com and use this documentation for imut.exe. Just remember, there is a _lot_ of options and functions in in FME, that doesn't exist in imut.exe
