A couple of years ago I wrote an integrated mapping app, VB 6.0 and MapInfo 6.5 under Windows 98. Now I have tested it with MapInfo 7.0 and Windows NT. Oh horror! Sometimes it comes up with map window blank. You have to click on it to bring up the map. Also, I have a bunch of standard MapInfo tools, and half the time when you click on the button to select the tool map window blanks out. And when you move Info window across the map, it leaves a trail, which again disappears if you change the tool and click on the map. My tools are implemented very simply:
Dim MapInf as object
Set MapInf=CreateObject("MapInfo.application")
