Something is wrong with one of your polygons in the table. 7.0 gave me this error all the time. 6.5 would just continue the process and you could have a object or two disappear. MapInfo knows about this problem. I have not encountered it yet in 7.5 since I have not had 7.5 that long. I have a feeling it has not been fixed. To solve the problem, you need to check you tables for errors (I used MI 'check regions function'). Clean the file, pack it and try again. A couple of times I had to reinstall 6.5 to get a few files to work because I couldn't get them to split in 7.0 I never had this problem combining objects, my problems all occured "splitting" objects.

Operation Cancelled" Does anyone know what causes this error message and how I could get around it?
