Actually, yes.
If you have Adobe Illustrator and MAPublisher or FreeHand and MAPublisher,
you can convert the pdf directly to mid/mif and then straight into MAPinfo.
This assumes that the PDF is a vector pdf and not a raster one.
But yes, it can be done.
