Hi I am trying to create a general legend for several Maps showing the results of a survey. The problem I have is this..... Not all the layers in an area contain all types of objects. I want to be able to show the objects that aren't in an area as well as those that are. Is there any way of doing this without having to open layers in the workspace that do contain the objects but that aren't located in the same area? I have created the legend I want in one workspace but the only way that I can get this into another workspace is to save it as an image. I then display it in the Layout window in a new frame. The problem with this solution is that the resolution is much lower in the image version as it is in the MapInfo create legend. I can save both the map and the legend and join them using graphics software and they match. But it has to be available to view in MapInfo as well as be printed?! Basically I am just being Lazy :-) but any ideas will be gratefully received!!!
