I am attempting to import region data from MapInfo 7.0 GIS layers into
CorelDraw 11 graphics package by creating DXF files via Universal
Translator.

The Translation procedure works fine, as does the importation into
CorelDraw. However, where things break down is when I try to apply new line
thicknesses.

The imported areas are shown as having no line thickness in CorelDraw but
they do print with a hairline thickness. When I attempt to change the line
thickness only part of the area/region will print. Importing lines into
CorelDraw/ changing line thickness seems to work ok.

I tried converting the MapInfo region detail into polylines and even broke
them at node level so the former region was incomplete, and this did not
work either.

Does anyone out there have know how to successfully transfer region data
from MapInfo into CorelDraw?
