Dear Co-listers, My condolences to anyone who has been affected by this tragedy, it is so hard to comprehend losing someone you care about in such a way. I'm sure that all of us have, in some form, been praying for the victims of this earthquake. One can only hope to hear of many more miracle stories to come and also hope the worlds generosity and compassion is evident at this time. If you wish to see a good simulation map of the Tsunami using NOAA data, the USA Today webite http://www.usatoday.com/news/graphics/tsnumai/flash.htm has a good map on the second tab page, Tsunami Animation. Sincerely wishing you all a happy, safe and productive New Year, Alistair.
