If your Shield nodes are identified numbered sequentially, e.g. ShieldNo,
beginning at 1, then you could probably do:

Select * from ShieldLayer where ShieldLayer.ShieldNo MOD 5 = 0

That should get every 5th shield, so every 5 miles.

Subject: MI-L SQL help?

Group

I have a Interstate shield's layer for the U.S. that has a shield (node) every
mile along that Interstate. What I want to do is make the same layer but, only
have nodes that are 5 miles apart. Any ideas on how to do this?

Thanks for any help.
