Your code is wrong. The target of the 'Commit Table As' cannot be file_name = FileSaveAsDlg(MIDrive,thisfile,"tab","Save as new") That doesn't evaluate to a string as it would in C, for example. You need to get the value for file_name first, then use that as the target for the commit.
