My machine starts to slow at around 1 gig for a single tab. But I don't
seem to have much of a problem with rasters that are about 4 gigs. It
must not be the same for rasters. The only tip I really have is to store
it on your local drive if at all possible.

Does or has anyone got around the 2GB file limit problem with MapInfo.

I have several tables that suffer from this problem, and I don't really
want
to split them if I can avoid it.

TIA

Cheers Ian
