Mathieu, I think something didn't go completely as expected when you installed MapInfo 8.0. Appearently the AddUser installation has failed to run properly. You could try to force this to run simply by activating the setup.exe file found in the AddUser folder in the folder where you installed MapInfo.

These are, as I expected, in my C:\Documents and Settings\apers\Application Data\MapInfo\MapInfo\Professional\700 folder. I've looked in the Options\Preferences menu for the default directory to point it to, but no joy.
