Hi, I am carrying out some analyses using the SAS system and then using it to write a MapInfo workspace file to display mapping information in a standard and routine way.
Everything works fine except that when I open the workspace in MapInfo I get a pesky little pop-up which lets me know that the index file (.IND) does not exist for the data being used. It's not a big problem as MapInfo carries on and then generates it (the index file) - however it would be good not to have to clink on the pop-up button. Anyone know the structure of the index file (it presumably has the labels) so that I can write it as well ?
