The .MAP file contains all of the graphical objects. Without a .MAP file, a table is "data only". If the table was supposed to be "data only", you already have all you need. If the table is supposed to contain point objects, if there are X and Y columns already filled in, and if you know the projection, then you can re-create the points yourself. (There's a way to create line segment objects if you have four coordinate columns). Otherwise, the sender made a MISTAKE and should re-send the data with the .MAP file included. Absent this, you're out of luck. Spencer
