Hi..
I think MI 8.0 cannot save in the 7.0 version.
Have you tried opening the .tab file with notepad and modifying the line: !version 800

change it to: !version 700

then try to open it with MI 7.0

Hi all,

We just adopted MI8.0, and now I ran into a problem… hope any of you can help me with it…

I created a single map (6 row table) out of 6 individual maps (1 row tables) by erasing the overlap of the different layers, and than by appending all the tables to 1 table. The map works perfectly in MI8.0. but when a colleague of mine tries to open it in MI7.0 it only shows the geographical object of the first row in the table…. (We also first got the message that the file would not be editable in MI7.0, but we changed that through WordPad).

Any of you MapInfo wizards out there who encounter this problem before, and knows how to solve it??
