Just got back from the MI conference in Phoenix and found a way to get my non-earth Autocad data into MapInfo datums…but, each autocad file (and I have many) has some 80-100 layers/tabs after translation.  Sue Dicey at MapInfo recommended writing a MapBasic program to do batch transformations (one layer translated just fine).  Said it would be a short program since the modules are already in MB.

I don’t have MB.  Would be willing to buy, but then I have to learn it.  Didn’t find a tool under the Directions website, but thought I’d read about it in the List.  Does anyone have such an .mbx or any idea of how to do about getting the data into the proper location in MI?

TIA
