Kevin,

Try the mapinfo (mapbasic) tool called WindowManager (WINMGR). I think it comes with MapInfo V8.0 so you may have it already...

Look in:
C:\Program Files\MapInfo\Professional\Tools for all the other ones that come with MapInfo.

Hope this helps,

Alistair.

Hello list,

I have tried to find a method to change the MapInfo Windows to something
meaningful and have come across the following code:

Set window frontwindow() Title "New Window Name

The problem is that I do not know where this needs to be written!  Is this a
MapBasic command?  I am not sure, as I have no experience with MapBasic.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Kevin
