Hi Peter,

It sounds like you have a State Plane coordinate system in your hands. Check to 
see which ones are available for the area you are working with. I'll bet 
MapInfo has one already defined for you.

Hi folks,

I have some mr. SID orthoimagery of Lake Ontario.  I'm using MI 8.0 and
cannot find the correect projection to display the images.  Their
metadata has them referenced to Lambert Conformal Conic Projection ,Nad
83, meters.  MI has lots of projections to chose.  None match exactly
and some of the very close ones are a no go.  Can anyone provide
guidance. Perhaps the correct parameters for the tab file.
