Has
anyone had any problems installing MapInfo 8.5 and getting SpatialWare to
work. I just upgraded from MapInfo 7.8 with SQL Server (which was working
fine), to MapInfo 8.5. Now I get a message "You are not licensed for
SpatialWare on this server" whenever I open MapInfo. Then I can open
tables with attribute data from SQL Server but no spatial objects (such as
lines, points....) will open. The fact that it was working fine before
tells me I had SpatialWare licensed on the server before the
upgrade.
I've
tried to re-install "MapInfo Pro for SQL Server" but the message that I need
MapInfo 7.0 or later to install it. Last time I checked, isn't 8.5 later
than 7.0!!!
The
section Installing MapInfo 8.5 of the manual doesn't say anything about any
special steps for installing with SQL Server and
SpatialWare.
Any
one know what I'm missing.
