Stella, Fantastic, thanks for following through on this, and confirming it works with your JNI tests.
I will look for time to test this on linux with nodejs, and if it works will plan to apply to SVN. The git mirror should autoupdate (so you can keep your fork in sync), but at this point is just read only.
