This is Venkatesh Varalu and i am new to Mapnik.
Need some help.
Requirement
I have generated shape files for my city and i need to create tile
files(PNG images) from the shape files which i would like to do it
with Mapnik.
Also i do not have a linux machine. I am running Windows Vista.
Is there anyone out there who has a solution for me for generating
tile files from shape file via Mapnik.
What i need?
1. Complete set-up process in windows.
2. Tweaks for working. Do's and Dont's
It would be great if you have already worked on it and share your
experiences.
Thanks in advance.
Also, if you think this can be done in someother way... please let
me know.
Unfortunately , there is no 'complete set-up' for win32, but it
should be pretty straight forward to adapt from :
