Hi, Nice to know that Frederic had success. I gave up my mission to produce something out in Finnish projections in March, but now I suppose I will make another try.
Like Frederik I would also like to be able to request projected maps in a more simple way some day. Two sets of parameters should be enough: - map extents given in projected system and - either the resolution of the resulting map (size of the map in pixels would be calcutaled automatically to suit this) - or the size of the resulting map in pixels (pixel size in x and y directions would be calculated automatically to suit). In addition I would like to get resulting maps georeferened in some way. World files would do fine, of GeoTIFF output option. I have one more question though. Specifying a geographic bbox *and* a projection *and* a width/height is more than required I believe. Chances are that if the result matches my projection and my geo bbox and the specified width, it will not have the specified height (or vice versa). Does mapnik deal with that in a well-defined way or should I make sure that the width/height I request always matches the projection and bbox?
