Dane,

I just updated the Quantumnik Wiki with a Downloading Mapnik section.  Have
a look and tell me if you approve.

Oh by the way....LOVE QUANTUMNIK...perhaps the biggest advance in open
source GIS in a while.  I did a little survey on LinkedIn a while back about
who uses OSGeo and I got a lot of comments about the poor CARTOGRAPHIC
performance of OS Desktop GIS...  I think this goes a long way toward
bridging the gap.

As far as the berlios download, were you trying from this page?

The above works for me, but it would be great if you would post that  
alternate link on the trac wiki.
