Hello: I've been using Mapnik on Ubuntu for about 3 months or so, with good progress. I decided to install Mapnik on Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) today, using Route A option 1.

Also, these optional dependencies were not found: - boost system - boost program_options - pycairo After the failed attempt, I tried to install via option 2 again with the same errors. I am really perplexed. Before my Ubuntu install, I tried to install on Mac OS X from source and got the same errors. Any ideas on what I should try next? Regards, Jmjira
