I'm getting the following error when trying $python scons/scons.py : Checking for C++ library icuuc... no Could not find required header or shared library for icuuc Checking for C++ library icudata... no Could not find required header or shared library for icudata GCC and G++ are both deffo installed: [r...@maps mapnik-0.6.1]# yum list | grep gcc gcc.i386 3.4.6-10 installed gcc-c++.i386 3.4.6-10 installed libgcc.i386 3.4.6-10 installed [r...@maps mapnik-0.6.1]# whereis g++ g++: /usr/bin/g++ /usr/share/man/man1/g++.1.gz Any pointers would be a great help.
