Hi! I am new in Mapnik world and I have some question. Can anyone help me?
First question: On my map are 3 parallel line (motorway, railroad and primary road). As you can see hier ( http://terkepek.baaa.hu/kulcs/index.html ), the motorway's shield (blue M6) and the primary road's shield (green 6) are located in the middle of their lines. Unfortunetly, there is a railway station between the green and the blue shield what I can not plotted beacouse the false value of allow_overlap. How can I get down or get up the line's shields? (maybe Styles/Roules are badly organised, or maybe just I cant clearly understand the substance of min_distance/spacing attributes?) Second question: How it is possible draw crossroads whitout black lines?:) Like this: ( http://a.tile.openstreetmap.org/16/10495/22872.png )I think I am not stupid, but I cant figure out the solution. On my map there are several crossroads from differently styled road but it seems overpasses instead crossroads. (maybe badly organised data in postgis [I guess that, but I think it doesn't support the topological data model] or just I can't understand the painter's algorithm?).
