Hi there,

I am a new user, so hopefully I'm posting to the right forum. I'm currently
living in Germany, and was surprised to see that amenity=biergarten isn't
rendered as an icon (e.g. pint of beer) in Mapnik.

For example, the number 27 on this map is actually tagged as a biergarten:

It's so obscure, that somebody else has added a restaurant next to it
(rendered as a knife and fork) with the name of the biergarten!!

This is just one example, in Germany there are hundreds if not thousands.

Does anybody else agree that it would make sense to render
amenity=biergarten?

Phil
