Hi Dane (and Gang), I'm wondering if the springmeyer/homebrew repo for Mapnik2 is actively in use, and if its a viable option on OS X? If not, what's in the way of it? I've found brew to be an awesome tool, and would be happy to invest in making it a viable path.
