Excellent. This is my experience as well. From your previous emails I 
understood that this did not fix things, which is why I wanted to dig more. 
Happy I did because its good to know about the --without-threading fix as well.

Well, thats fine. You don't want to be using mod_python in my opinion.

Okay, but to clarify, it sounds like mod_python *DOES* work without server 
hangs if you compile --without-threading?

An inimage exception will be something else, likely quite harmless.

Post your XML stylesheet. Its impossible to guess without having some sense of
