Hi Dane, I was looking for something that would allow me to format in any way. Significant digits will solve half of the problem, locale being the other half. I need to get 1.234,56 (spanish) out of 1234.561
What about the TextSymbolizer allowing expressions? http://mapnik.org/news/2009/dec/08/future_mapnik2/ Will that make it easier to support formatting? > -----Mensaje original----- > De: Dane Springmeyer [mailto:[email protected]] > Enviado el: miƩrcoles, 24 de noviembre de 2010 21:17 > Para: Clos Crespo, Manel > CC: <[email protected]> > Asunto: Re: [Mapnik-users] TextSymbolizer and number format > > Manel, I have a patch on trac for setting signicant digits if > you are > rendering labels from float fields.
