There is a new Mapnik 2 OSX Installer available at: http://dbsgeo.com/downloads/#mapnik-2.0.0
Mapnik2 has not been released yet so this is PRE-release code from latest SVN trunk for anyone that is interested in playing with Mapnik2 features.
