    Resolution: Won't Fix

I originally debugged the user.location bug with [~cnauroth].

It indeed is the same issue as MAPREDUCE-1144.

We haven't done a 1.x release in ~2 years. Unlikely this issue is going to be 
fixed/released. This shouldn't happen in 2.x, which was a complete rewrite. 

Closing this as Won't Fix.
