Hitesh Shah commented on MAPREDUCE-2863:
----------------------------------------

We can probably skip the flexible list of attributes for the time being and
just keep a fixed output for now. As a first cut, as long as the output format
allows for easy flexibility to add new elements in later ( clients could
continue to work as is if they skip the newly added elements as the older
format didn't have them ), we can make do with just having ids for the time
being.

One suggestion though might be to provide the ids and possibly the urls (
tracking url in case of apps for example ) if that is something worth
considering. However just to be clear, I am ok with just having ids for now and
then adding new elements in later once we get a better understanding of how
folks would be using these apis.
