We used to have
`log4j.appender.CLA.totalLogFileSize=${yarn.app.container.log.filesize}`
which would be set by:
```
/**
* Setter so that log4j can configure it from the
* configuration(log4j.properties).
*
* @param logSize log size.
*/
public void setTotalLogFileSize(long logSize) {
maxEvents = (int)(logSize / EVENT_SIZE);
}
```
So didn't we already have the same value before?

Could you please provide insights into where this default value is coming
from?
